The levels are like 30 minutes long and I am near the end of the game(last two levels!!). I FINALLY FINISHED A LEVEL. I must have died like 6 or 7 times trying to beat it(there are no checkpoints, and I am always near the end). Doesn't seem like a lot but that equates to about 2 to 3 hours just trying to beat this thing. Holy shit. I am done for the night. Tomorrow I have nothing to do! MUHAHAHAH!!

I've been replaying Final Fantasy 8 and it's amazing to realize how much time videogames can take up without you realizing it, in particularly those of the RPG genre! But what are you playing?

I hate RPGs for that reason plus they take 50+ hours to complete for me at least, I have to do all the subquests.

I am playing Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. It is super simple game, shoot shit. But it is so tense and so much fun! At the same time infuriating, levels last up to 30 minutes...no checkpoints
